A WORD FROM THE AUTHOR / ARTIST
"The story Kamala captures the beauty of Indian culture which I am fascinated from the minute I decided on writing a story about it.
Kamala is a young Indian girl going about her day in school. I want this story to relate to many children's everyday routines. So, together with Kamala, children will explore her unique culture and learn the origins of these cultures. I want to show them that differences should be embraced because it creates something beautiful. Just like the different colours Kamala uses to celebrate the Festival of Colours, they come together to make one joyful celebration for all." - Louise Emilie
