"Learning more about your cultural roots is essential for a deeper appreciation of your own heritage.
In December of 2022, I attended my first traditional Chinese wedding and was exposed to a lot of different wedding traditions in Chinese culture. This ultimately inspired me to create Jie Jie’s Wedding with the aim to spread awareness of the wedding festivities of traditional Chinese weddings.
I believe that staying close to our heritage allows us to have a stronger sense of belonging and community, and can help us possess positive values passed down from many generations." - Megan Mulia
