"Let's create a Picture Book together!"
"That was the 'challenge' I posed to my 9-year-old triplets niece and nephews - Asher, Brayden and Charlotte. What I didn't expect was a monstrous tale involving a giant Snowman, 3 bullies, and a whole lot of snowballs!
Thanks to the support of National Arts Council Singapore, I get to create 10 mini picture books for the 'House Of Mini Picture Books'. Doing 10 stories at one go gave me the chance to really have fun and try out various storytelling approaches. And it was truly an amazing learning experience to co-create a story with a bunch of "americanised" 9-year-old with uninhibited imaginations.

Asher, Brayden and Charlotte grew up in the US since they were one year old. But due to COVID, their visit back to Singapore was extended and I'm glad we get to spend precious bonding time together, creating a picture story that they are proud of."
